-Kickass Cover of the Day: Ace Enders w/ Dan Campbell, Nick Diener, and Carmen Cirignano-“Closing Time”-

The Early November are currently on their North American tour with The Swellers, The Wonder Years, and Young Statues. In between shows, the vocalists of each band took some time to acoustically cover Semisonic’s hit (and my nightly anthem), “Closing Time”. Check it out above compliments of Absolute Punk and let us know what you think.

The Early November Getting Help From Fans To Build A Setlist For Their Upcoming Tour

This summer Ace Enders and his highly revered brain child, The Early November, are hitting the road for their first tour in 5 years. In support of their upcoming album, In Currents, the band will be playing a scattering of shows throughout the U.S at the end of May and into early June with The Wonder Years, The Swellers, and Young Statues:

5/23 Irving Place New York, NY
5/24 Water St. Music Hall Rochester, NY
5/25 House Of Blues Cleveland, OH
5/26 Bledfest Howell, MI
5/27 Opera House Toronto, ON
5/29 Metro Chicago, IL
5/30 Varsity Minneapolis, MN
6/1 Summit Denver, CO
6/2 In The Venue Salt Lake City, UT
6/4 El Corazon Seattle, WA
6/6 Slim’s San Francisco, CA
6/7 El Rey Los Angeles, CA
6/8 House Of Blues Anaheim, CA
6/9 SOMA San Diego, CA

As Ace Enders is highly interested in playing to fan favorites, he left the content of their upcoming setlists to be determined by what the fans would want to hear most. Through the poll on their Facebook page, you can let the guys in TEN know the 5 songs you would most want to hear at one of their upcoming shows. Personally, I think this is a great way for them to put together a performance fueled by their reunion. Fan reception will influence this tour to potentially be one of the greatest tours they’ve done and one worth talking about.

Just for fun, I did the poll, so if you’re at all interested check below the cut. If not, be sure to check out The Early November in a city near you and catch In Currents when it drops July 3rd courtesy of Rise Records.
